A relaxing walk through the woods, with the sound of a waterfall nearby, is the perfect way to escape and unwind. Picture yourself walking along a peaceful trail, surrounded by tall trees and the fresh scent of nature. As you walk, the sound of a waterfall gets louder, drawing you closer. The water falls gently over rocks, creating a calm, soothing noise. You find a spot to sit, enjoy the cool breeze, and take in the beauty of the waterfall and the forest around you. It’s a peaceful experience that helps you forget about everything else and just enjoy the moment😇😇😇

Went last weekend and started with the meerkat talk from one of the staff who was clearly very informed and was good at sharing the information whilst also making it understandable for the families with kids who were also there. The falls themselves are definitely worth the visit, one of the more stunning waterfalls on Dartmoor. We took the purple trail and it was fun although be warned it's not as easy as the rest of the trail is and is very much like walking on a rougher part of Dartmoor so using the helpful map they give you when you park to take the red trail may be better if you're not looking to adventure a little more and climb a small hill. I highly recommend for a day out, only a short drive from the A38 Bovey Tracey turn off. We also had some food in the cafe which was pretty nice after going for the walk around.

We visited during the February half term holiday with our grandchildren (7 & 9) and our dog. We arrived soon after opening and started on the red route with a bit of boulder climbing and good views of the falls. We opted for the red route extension and arrived back at the cafe ready for lunch (you could take a picnic) We then feed the meerkats and visited the other animals. Before a stroll around the blue route back to the gift shop and granddad had to stop for a cake! We then left giving us time to visit an and climb up Hound Tor, (Newton Abbot) just before we left for home the ponies visited us.

A lovely walk around the falls, some paths are over rocks and bridges. Some animals to see and a cafe. You can pay for food to feed the goats but you do not get much food in the bag. Very pleasant area, some areas are very muddy but you are walking in a wooded area, so what do you expect.

We had a fabulous day out at Becky Falls. Such a beautiful spot in Devon and the little animal zone at the start was a very nice surprise, as well as the insect and reptile hut. We were a bit taken aback by the initial entry cost, mainly because we didn't know it was a chargeable activity but it was well worth the money. Spotlessly clean everywhere, well sign posted footpaths, the ability to free roam within reason across the rocks. Definitely a must visit!
